2008 TRAVELING COLLECTION

One of the Art Center's most popular exhibits, the 29th Annual Juried Show showcases an all media exhibit of original artworks completed in the last two years, from entrants living in Montana and adjoining states.  Juror Gretchen Bederman of Glendive, Montana, selected 79 entries as well as award winners.  Cash prizes total $1,000 for first, second and third place winners.

Art Center staff selected 20 works representative of the original exhibit for inclusion in the 2008 Traveling Collection, which will tour community centers and galleries across eastern Montana.  This year the Traveling Collection will travel to Glendive, Sidney, Colstrip, Baker, Ekalaka, Broadus, Hardin, Forsyth and Jordan.   

The following artists have been selected to be included in the Traveling Collection: Brenda Barthelmeh, Kari Brewer, Linda Conradsen, Arlene Corbin, Lorri Coulter, Kim Erickson, Barbara Frickle, Judy Gurnsey, William Harbort, Diane Hausmann, Joyce Lahn, Donna Loops, Michael Meissner, Brain Paulsen, Loraine Plath, John Riggs, Gisela Schneider, Mary Jo Titus, and Robert Wooton.
